Roberts guitars are lightweight, small-bodied fingerstyle instruments and are known for their responsiveness and full tonal range. By using carefully selected tonewoods and paying close attention to each individual part of the creation of the instrument, I hope to make a guitar that truly inspires the player. Players across North America, the United Kingdom and as far away as Japan enjoy these fine hand built musical instruments. This guitar is based on Robert's 04C body shape which is a 000 size so it has a strong, vibrant voice and quick response. It's crafted from top notch Brazilian Rosewood with very tight grain and a beautiful, gentle wave. The top is very special Sitka Spruce sawn from hand-split billets cut from salvaged ocean pilings and air-dried 30 years. This top is superb and sets this guitar apart with it's strong, clear voice that is sophisticated and complex, yet pure of note.
